⎇ The Reckonsys years

Nearly four years (3.8, to be precise) of building and leading at a bootstrapped product-engineering firm: GraphQL/RPC/REST microservices in Python, React front-ends, cloud deployment across AWS, Azure, and GCP, and E2E test automation — for a rotating cast of startups, with teams of 2–10 per product.

Everything was scaffolded from cookiecutter templates we maintained, and the deployment story was open-sourced as bigga — a docker-compose reference that made shipping boring, which was the point.

About the title: I corrected it publicly myself — ~70% of my time was hands-on coding, so "a glorified Tech Lead that took on a part-time VPE role" is the accurate description. I'd rather be precise than impressive.
