Ultimate WebAssembly for High-Performance Apps

Srinivas Shanmugam's guide to high-performance WebAssembly across browsers, servers, and the edge. I served as one of its technical reviewers — vetting the Rust/Wasm and the claims.

A practical guide to shipping WebAssembly where performance actually matters: compiling modules, wiring Wasm to JavaScript and Rust, deploying to cloud and IoT, and tuning for production workloads. Written by Srinivas Shanmugam, published by AVA (Orange Education) in 2026.

My part

I was one of two technical reviewers (with Bhushan Nikhar). The job is unglamorous and load-bearing: read every chapter adversarially, run the code, and flag the places where a claim is fluent but wrong before it reaches print. Familiar instinct — it's the same one behind nibli, pointed at a manuscript instead of a knowledge base.

Catching the fluent-but-wrong before it ships is the whole job, whether it's a book or an engine.
